So I have finally got round to posting my entry for the 2010 Snarry Swap ( snape_potter ), this was written for Wordslave and I tried to use as many of her like list as possible. This is only my second fic and my first Snarry, but I am quite pleased with it. However I would never have gotten anywhere without my fabulous beta synn who not only read through the thing two or three times before I sent it off but who also had a massive rle in being reassuring and making the whole process so much easier and better than if I had struggled by myself. Thank you sooo much! Equally, thank you Mods (if you are reading this) for being so supportive with a first time fester, I would never have made it without you. So now on to the fic, I haven't yet worked out how to make warnings only appear when you highlight so please be warned this is post-war AU and features light BDSM and some piercing. Some thoughts and a rec!! Going back to university for my last year has definitely started to put many different things about my life into perspective. I am well aware exactly how hard this year is going to be work wise and emotionally as not only is there the pressure to achieve well there is the knowing that by July it will all be over and there are people in my lie now how may slowly disappear out of it. I'd like to hope that i will never take for granted the friendships of the people I have met here at uni and those in my home town. I consider myself extremely lucky for all the things I have in my life, especially in the light of recent events in America and the intolerance that is still finding its way to affecting childrens lives. I hope that people will soon no longer have to deal with intolerance of any kind. On another, slightly less introspective note, I read a Severus/Harry/Draco fic the other day that re-affirmed exactly why they are my OT3. An Eye for an Eye by Arsenic Jade is a thoroughly recommended read, in fact there are too may things to say about how wonderful it is, I just can't quite figure out why I haven't read it before. If you like all the boys just as characters then this is the read for you, if you like the interplay between two slytherins and a gryffindor this is for you, if you like a good plot with wonderful development then this is the read for you, and if you like the thought of these three boys together then (can you see where I'm going?) this is the read for you!! Go forth and read my darlings and look out for some more recs in the future. As far as I'm aware I hadn't read any of alaana_fair 's fiction before but I most definitely recommend them highly now. My rec is for the drabble Twelve Years and the fic sequel Twelve Years Later. There is something so poignant about the relationship between Harry and Draco and everything they go through. Subsequently I have been proved wrong, in some cases I have less time than I had before and so this is my reason for not having written for three months.
